Ian Wimpenny is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Keele University. He holds a degree in medical materials science and a PhD in biomedical engineering. His research is at the interface between biology and materials and focuses on real-time methods for characterising both the degradation of materials and how this affects the growth and activity of cells. Ian will be moving to a Postdoctoral Research Associate role at The University of Manchester in September .
